Chapter 5

In this chapter, Gatsby interacts more with Nick. Nick has set up a date between Gatsby and Daisy. The moment when Daisy arrives at Nick's house, Gatsby loses his cool and is completely nervous. But as the day progresses, he gets better. When they all go up to Gatsby's house, Daisy is completely in shock because of Gatsby's wealth. But you can also tell that Gatsby is using his wealth to his advantage by showing Daisy how rich and successful he is.
